Vietnam supplier verification checks the legal identity, operating site, authority, manufacturing role and payment details of a Vietnamese supplier.
| Checkpoint | Question to resolve |
|---|---|
| Entity | Which legal business will contract, invoice and receive payment? |
| Site or basis | Which facility, standard or rule supports the supplier’s claim? |
| Release | What evidence must be approved before the order, shipment or payment proceeds? |
The sourcing decision
Match local registration and tax details to the contract, invoice, exporter and beneficiary account. Confirm factory location, tenancy or ownership and approved subcontractors. Check whether the exporter and manufacturer are separate entities.
Documents and checks
Retain dated corporate evidence, licences supplied, site verification, customer references, quality certifications, contacts and bank-detail confirmation. Keep translated and local-name records together so later reviewers can identify the same entity.
A supplier can be legally registered without owning the factory shown in its marketing. Verify the relationship to each production site.
