BOJ-NET is the Bank of Japan Financial Network System. It is the central infrastructure used for funds transfers and settlement of Japanese government securities between the Bank of Japan and participating institutions, with funds transfers processed using real-time gross settlement.
A company does not ordinarily send a supplier payment by logging into BOJ-NET. Its bank provides the customer product, while BOJ-NET supports eligible interbank and central-bank settlement behind the service.
